Satechi, known for its series of accessories for Apple Products, has recently been released with a new line of Onthego wireless chargers, ideal for trips due to their compact size.
There are two models, 3 V 1 load and 2 V 1 load. 3 V 1 has a Qi2 charging surface for iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch charging puck. The 2-in-1 will drop the AirPods fee, so it only has a Qi2 charging platform and an Apple Watch fee. Depending on the AirPods you have, you can charge them via QI2 or with Apple Watch.
Each of the charging surfaces is slightly larger than Apple Magsafe with the same circular shape. Each of them connects a small group and accumulates on each other. The final result is a complex charger with multiple deficiency, which is super portable. It is under the thumb and a half tall when it flows up, and two and a half inches wide. The bands that connect each of the chargers feel first and well attached, and I did the budget when I pulled them with force. I think they will last well with regular use over time.
The chargers are covered with a vegan leather material that seems to resist dust and soft touch, so they don’t scratch your device. Qi2 and Apple Watch chargers are flat, but Apple Watch has a pop -up puck so that it can load flat or raised into the bedside table mode.
On the 3 V 1, AirPods charging and Qi2 charge, Apple Watch can be upright with an Apple Watch load as a base, which is a stand that can hold upright iphone while providing Apple Watch charging. This orientation is useful for standby mode, but if you want to load three units. In any orientation it works well on the hotel’s bedside table or office table.
The stress iphone is Qi2, so it charges iphone up to 15 W, as well as the original charging speed magsafe. The iPhone 16 models support faster charging 25 W, so Qi2 is slower wireless charging speed. During testing, the Qi2 charger was able to charge my iPhone 16 for Max for 41 piercing per hour, starting with approximately two piernts, which is in line with what I expect from 15W wireless loaders. Wireless charging speeds are variable due to thermal restrictions, so charging speeds can fluctuate if iphone warms up or the room in which it is charged is warm. My iphone was warm when using charging charging, but not hot.
Satychi sells chargers in three colors, includes black, sand and desert roses. Each of them comes with a corresponding USB-C cable that is a long meter, but there is no USB-C power adapter, so you have to deliver your own. Satychi says the charge needs a 36W power adapter at least to load the device at maximum speeds. Together with the USB-C and charge cable, Satychi includes a small travel case, so you can insert the folded charge in the bag, backpack or as follows.
Bottom line
For $ 100, the 3 -in -1 ontego charger from Satychi at a reasonable price for its compact size and versatility. It can be used in several ways and provides adequate charging speeds overnight for iphone and fast charging for Apple Watch. The price is competitive with similar travel chargers from remarkable brands because it is cheaper than Belkin’s 120 $ 3-in-1 fees and Mophie’s 150 $ 3-in-1 Changer.
I wish Satychi includes an adapt on USB-C power supply. The 36W charger it requires is slightly larger than what you would get with the air MacBook or iPad, so there may not be the size that people have at hand.
Given how little it folds, it is a great choice for those looking for travel burden or even something they would bring between work and home. Model 2 in 1 works the same, but it seems to be worth spending another $ 20 on AirPods and the functionality of the stand if you don’t want something even more compact.
